Covering an area of 57.14 hectares, located on Panićki Jelak, specifically on the right side of the gorge of the Brzećka River(Brzećka Reka) valley, this site extends across an altitude range of 1000 to 1490 meters above sea level. The significance of this area lies primarily in the presence of the yew (Taxus baccata), a relict plant species that is found only in this part of the national park. In the lowest parts of the gorge, beech forests (Fagetum montanum) dominate, with beech and fir forests above them, interspersed with individual mountain maple trees. The site is characterized by the forest community of yew and fir (Taxo-abietum).
