Hunting within the boundaries of the “Kopaonik” hunting ground is strictly prohibited, except in cases where certain species become overly numerous. The “Kopaonik” hunting ground is defined by the Decision of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, and Water Management under number 342-02-187/93-06 and has been assigned for management to the Public Enterprise “National Park Kopaonik.” The hunting ground covers the territories of the municipalities of Brus and Raška, encompassing an area of 11,969.04 hectares. This area includes forests, meadows, and rivers. Hunting within the National Park is organized and regulated in accordance with planning documents. Hunting permits are issued by the ranger service of the Public Enterprise “National Park Kopaonik.” The hunting ground also features hunting facilities, including hunter lodges, observation platforms, salt licks, and feeding stations.
