This trail begins at the Kadiјevac picnic area and can be accessed from two directions to reach the ridges of Kozja Stena. One route leads from Kadiјevac, starting at the very beginning of the Miјatović Gorge (from the commemorative plaque) and continues along the gorge. The other route ascends from Kadiјevac, above the wooden lodge and the old shepherd’s hut, to the summit of Kukavica (1726 m), and then follows the ridge to the Đorov Most picnic area. The trail is particularly attractive as it climbs alongside the cliffs of Kozja Stena, offering spectacular views of the stunning landscapes of Kopaonik Mountain. This reserve is a natural habitat for various species, including the lynx, Kopaonik violet, and Kopaonik bellflower. The path meanders along the edges of the cliffs, where one side is characterized by areas of spruce and fir forests interspersed with beautiful heather fields, while the other side features steep, impressive cliffs. Within these cliffs, one can also observe the remarkable engineering feat accomplished by Serbian peasant-engineer Dragoljub Miјatović from the nearby village of Žutica between the two World Wars. To secure a source of drinking water and irrigation, he redirected the flow of the Kopaonik river, Samokovka, through a channel that he excavated over a length of 19 kilometers through the mountain. The most striking section, approximately 1 km long, is carved directly into the cliffs known as Kozja Stena, situated at an altitude of around 1500 m. Walking along this trail offers a truly exhilarating experience of adventure.
