A significant cleaning action was organized by the Public Enterprise “National Park Kopaonik.” The area around the tourist center Kopaonik and along the main road to Brzeće, Jošanica Spa, and Rudnica was cleaned. Participants included: JP “Putevi” Raška, JP “Skijališta Srbije,” “Kavim” Raška, JKP “Raška,” the Serbian Army, the Raška Municipal Administration, the Raška Tourist Organization, the Youth Office Association of Raška, Green Signposts, MK Resort Kopaonik, JKP “Rasina” Brus, and the hotels “Mučen,” “Jat,” “Kraljevi Čardaci,” “Jolly Kop,” “Time Sharing” Brzeće, “Srebrna Lisica,” and TV “Kopernikus” Raška. The hotel “Jolly Kop” donated three vouchers for two nights of accommodation in Jolly Kop apartments during the summer season to the participants of the action. Special thanks go to the residents of the Brzeće settlement for their assistance in the cleaning effort. During the action, streets and parking areas were washed using tankers from JKP “Raška.” Approximately 600 bags of trash and three truckloads of construction debris were collected. We sincerely thank all participants for their involvement. We appeal to all visitors and users of the area to join forces in preserving and nurturing nature, thereby creating a more beautiful and healthier living environment for ourselves.
