We inform all visitors and users of the Kopaonik National Park that the Markov Kamen trail will be closed for the time being due to damage. The damage occurred as a result of snow breakage and snowfalls, which can cause enormous harm in the forests, as large amounts of snow on the tree canopies create loads and pressure, leading to the breaking of branches and even uprooting entire trees. Employees of the national park are working on repairing the damage and will strive to make the trail available to tourists again as soon as possible.
