We are pleased to announce that after extensive field and laboratory research in the Kopaonik National Park, a new butterfly species has been discovered. The research was conducted by Dr. Dejan V. Stojanović and his team from the Institute of Lowland Forestry. The new species has been named Heterogynis serbica and represents an exceptionally important finding on a global scale, as it is a stenotopic endemic.
