During this time of year, bears are foraging more abundantly to build up the energy reserves necessary for hibernation. Our cameras have captured several sightings of the brown bear (Ursus arctos) at the wild boar feeding site. The brown bear is a very cautious animal, making it nearly impossible to encounter in the wild. We hope that continued monitoring will confirm the presence of an increasing number of individuals in the area.
