From September 3rd to 5th, the traditional event “Days of Chanterelles” will be held. The organizers of the event are the Kopaonik National Park, MK Mountain Resort, and the tourist organizations of Brus and Raška. Program of the event: Friday – September 3, 2021 9 AM – 2 PM – Organized mushroom foraging with guides from the National Park and the local mushroom society “Kopaonik from Raška” 10 AM – 8 PM – Offering of mushroom products from the Kopaonik area 3 PM – Determination of collected mushrooms and preparation for the exhibition 5 PM – Lecture on nature conservation and mushroom habitats Saturday – September 4, 2021 10 AM – 8 PM – Mushroom exhibition 10 AM – 8 PM – Offering of mushroom products from the Kopaonik area 10 AM – Hiking tour “Photo Safari” 12 PM – Competition in preparing dishes made with mushrooms in the categories: Cold appetizers, Soupy dishes, Grill 2 PM – Cultural and artistic program 3 PM – Judging of competitors 5 PM – Lecture on nature conservation and mushroom habitats
