The Public Enterprise “National Park Kopaonik,” in honor of World Biodiversity Day, is organizing a large spring cleaning campaign throughout the national park. The aim is to raise awareness about environmental protection and the preservation of our planet. The cleaning action will take place on Friday, 10. 05.
202 May 4, 2024, starting at 4 PM. We invite you to participate in this initiative with as many volunteers as possible, as well as with available machinery or other forms of material support (sandwiches for participants, water, juices) that may be helpful for the campaign. Registration for participation is required by May 9, 2024. The planned activities include collecting waste along the regional roads towards Jošanicka Banja, Rudnice, Brus, along ski trails, parking areas, and the center of Kopaonik, as well as specific locations from Jaram to Suvo Rudiste. Detailed plans will be shared just before the event begins. The Public Enterprise “National Park Kopaonik” will provide the necessary gloves and trash bags, and all employees will participate in the campaign. The implementation of the action will be covered by media and monitored by the Environmental Protection Inspection of the Republic of Serbia.
