MAJOR CLEANING ACTION
“Let’s Clean Kopaonik”

The Public Enterprise “National Park Kopaonik,” on the occasion of the International Day for Biological Diversity and European Parks Day, is organizing a large spring cleaning action within the national park to raise public awareness about the importance of green spaces. The cleaning action will take place on Friday, May 21, 2021, starting at 10 AM.
We invite you to join the collective effort for a cleaner Kopaonik.
Registration for participation is open until May 18, 2021.
According to the reports from the ranger service, cleaning is planned along the ski slopes and regional roads towards Brus, Jošanička Spa(Jošanička Banja), and Rudnica, in parking areas, and in the broader vicinity of all hospitality facilities and ski resorts from Jaram to Suvo Rudiste.
Details of the plan will be announced just before the action begins.
As always, the Public Enterprise “National Park Kopaonik” will provide the necessary amount of gloves and bags for solid waste, and all employees will participate in the action.
The action will be covered and monitored by the Environmental Protection Inspection of the Republic of Serbia.
